Sandhamn Seglarhotell is an exclusive archipelago hotel located in the heart of Stockholm's outer archipelago. Sailing enthusiasts, companies and individuals who want to enjoy the archipelago's scenic environment meet here all year round.
We were asked to develop a new website that reflects the hotel’s ongoing regeneration – a modern, easy-to-navigate and flexible site that staff can easily update themselves.
The aim was to make it easy to add new events, activities, offers and a dynamic menu to the restaurant, which was previously only available in PDF format.
Improved navigation
We designed a clear and stylish menu with the hotel logo at the center, quick links to the most visited pages and a clear “Book” button to increase conversions.
Calendar of events and activities
We built a calendar where hotel staff can easily enter upcoming events, seasonal activities and theme weeks directly on the website.
Flexible content system
We implemented a customized content system based on WordPress, with flexible templates that make it easy to create and edit content without having to think about design or technology. This applies to everything from offers to menus and news.
